Gran Premio de Aragón 2010
Sometimes you never know where you will end up! After 2 years of waiting for the Hungarian GP to happen, we have been given Aragon instead. Is this a 'consolation prize'? ABSOLUTELY NOT! The new 'Motorland Aragon' is an incredible venue - literally a 'City of Motors' devoted to the enjoyment of all forms of motor sport. For those of you coming early, we will be making a scouting expedition to the Motorland on Friday morning, seeing the Motor museums, hitting the Karting track and catching the afternoon practice sessions. Plan a Thursday arrival.
The region is absolutely drowned in history - former battleground of the 're-conquista' of Spain following centuries of Moorish occupation, settlement here goes back to early Roman times and further. Not that you will have any illusions - our 'Special Castle Package' puts you in the heart of it all in a hilltop 12-13th century castle and palace; the seat of the famous medieval religious warrior order the Knights of Calatrava. If you can drag yourself away from the history and the stunning views, the track is a mere 6km away, making this a totally hassle-free weekend. Of course you won't get a lot of time to enjoy the view! (This is one event where we really recommend you stay on a few days!) On Thursday we do our traditional 'happy hours' which is a great way to meet up everyone and have a drink or two on us. Friday night we have an opening reception planned with buffet, drinks and a special guest speaker from the MotoGP paddock. On Saturday night we will have dinner in town, and there is a very exclusive optional dinner INSIDE the MotoGP paddock with one of the teams - you will see the pits, enjoy drinks at the hospitality and meet most of the MotoGP riders! Sunday night we have a very special party planned as a closing celebration of the only Aragonese MotoGP! At the track we will know soon about the tickets on offer; and of course we have the very exclusive VIP Village to experience the best the event has to offer. However if you REALLY want something remarkable, go for one of our Team Experience packages - spend a day or the entire weekend as a VIP guest of a MotoGP or Moto2/125cc team, with full paddock access! Our package offers 3 nights DB&B, with our opening party, Saturday dinner, closing party Sunday and track transfers. Optionally we can take you to the track Friday, pick you up from the airport, and of course set you up for extra nights. Our expert guides will be on hand all the time for any help and to keep the party rolling! And lets not forget the value of those unique 'Aragon 2010' Polo Shirts! You should fly into Reus (served by Ryanair amongst others), Zaragoza, or Barcelona. We will be consolidating customers for group transfers to this relatively rural region. Space at this event is EXTREMELY LIMITED - book soon! |
