This is the round we have been waiting for!
The first Hungarian MotoGP has been a few years in the making, but we expect it will be worth the wait.
For starters, this is in an amazingly secret and beautiful region of Europe. Lake Balaton is the largest lake in Central and Eastern Europe and is affectionately known as the 'Hungarian Seashore'. Tons of recreational activities abound - including all the obvious water sports, wonderful bicycle trails, walking, and the place is blessed with many thermal springs and spas. Indeed it is for this last reason that we have based ourselves in the lovely town of Heviz, one of the top 'wellness' centres in Central/Eastern Europe.
We have set up our Hungary packages to give you maximum peace of mind - we can look after you from the moment you arrive; and indeed will advise best travel strategies (and talk to us if you are coming on bikes! Some of us will be!) We have Hungarian-speaking staff on hand, and have established good relations with the circuit, hotels and other suppliers in the area.
Not that we will give you much chance to enjoy the spa! (This is one event where we really recommend you stay on a few days!) On Thursday we do our traditional 'happy hours' which is a great way to meet up everyone and have a drink or two on us. Friday night we have a great opening reception planned with buffet, drinks and a special guest speaker from the MotoGP paddock. On Saturday night there is a very exclusive dinner INSIDE the MotoGP paddock with one of the teams - you will see the pits, enjoy drinks at the hospitality and meet most of the MotoGP riders! Sunday night we have a very special party planned as a closing celebration of the first Hungarian MotoGP!
We offer two packages to suit most budgets:
Our Deluxe package is in the top hotel in the Lake Balaton area. Full 5* pampering, wonderful spa facilities, professional masseurs and staff; you may never want to leave! Our top VIP guides are also on hand to ensure you best treatment on- and off-track. This package also includes Saturday dinner.
Our Classic package is in a very nice 3* spa hotel also in Heviz.
Both packages offer 3 nights B&B, with our opening party, closing party Sunday and track transfers. Optionally we can take you to the track Friday, pick you up from Budapest airport, and of course set you up for extra nights. Our expert guides will be on hand all the time for any help and to keep the party rolling!
