General information
Twin Ring Motegi (ツインリンクもてぎ ,Tsuin Rinku Motegi) is an automobile racing track located at Motegi (茂木町), Japan and is approximately 86km from Narita airport and 33km from Utsunomiya. Its name comes from the fact that there are two race tracks at the facility: a 2.493-kilometre (1.549 miles) oval and a 4.8-kilometre (2.98 miles) road course. It was built in 1997 by Honda.

Flying
Fly to Tokyo NARITA then drive or take train.

IMPORTANT: We will try to consolidate customers and offer a shared van/coach from Narita if possible. If you would like to join this, please be sure to tell us your exact flight details both ways and we will let you know any options.

By Train
You can catch the local train from Narita airport (or Tokyo).

Going to UTSUNOMIYA: 宇都宮市
It changes in Tokyo and you join the bullet train to Utsunomiya. Costs around 7,500 YEN. For package customers this is where you get off and join us at the hotel. Continuing on to the circuit you can catch a bus to the circuit on the West exit of the train station, 90 minutes to the circuit. - Choose a connection with SHINKANSEN bullet train to Utsunomiya.

Going to TSUKUBA CITY: つくば市
There are several options, the most convenient with just one transfer goes from Narita to KITA-SENJU then on to TSUKUBA. About €15 and 113 minutes. A fast and cheaper route (90 mins, c €12) with 2 changes exists.
The train station is a 4 minute walk to the FRONTIER hotel and 10 minutes to EPOCHAL

By Coach

Going to UTSUNOMIYA: 宇都宮市
There is a coach services that takes you directly to Utsunomiya from Narita airport. When leaving customs from arriving follow signs to public transport. The company is Chiba Kotsu. A little hard to locate so ask for buses to Utsunomiya. The are very friendly and helpful. Costs around 4,500 YEN. Going to TSUKUBA CITY: つくば市
We don't recommend this.

By Car
By car you are best looking at google maps or purchasing a map as the road names are written in Japanese characters.

Going to UTSUNOMIYA: 宇都宮市
From Tokyo it is around 154 km – about 2 hours 50 mins.

Going to TSUKUBA CITY: つくば市
It is just a 46 minute drive from Narita. We have plenty of parking at the hotel, but let us know to reserve you a space and give us an estimated time of arrival.
