TRAVEL HINTS...
General Information The Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello is located 30km north of Florence and 100km south of Bologna – the perfect setting for a weekend of high-speed thrills and spills under the Tuscan sun! Remember if you are coming on a package with us, we can organise airport pickup from most airports.
By air The nearest airports are Florence (30km to the south), Bologna (100km to the north) and Pisa (120km to the west). Try skyscanner.net to find out what cheap airlines will get you there. From these airports you can get trains or taxis.
By road From Florence, point your car or bike to the north and find the SS 65, which will take you past Fiesole towards Vaglia. After 22km take the 2nd exit at the roundabout and continue along the SS 551 / SP 550. At San Piero a Sieve take the SS 503 / SP 503 and turn onto the SP 42 after Scarperia. Follow the signs to ‘Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello’.
From Bologna take the A1 and exit at Barberino del Mugello (15km from the circuit). Follow the signs to ‘Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello’ passing close to San Piero a Sieve on the way.
For a more scenic route through the hills, find the ‘Via Faentina’ (SS 302) and wind your way all the way to the circuit via Scarperia.
Whichever way you take, be prepared for significant traffic, especially leaving the circuit. Sit back and enjoy that last coffee! The public car parking is a bit of a hike to the circuit.
By rail The closest railway stations to Mugello are Borgo S. Lorenzo (8km to the south) and Florence (30km to the south). See http://www.ferroviedellostato.it/ for timetable information. From the station to the circuit you can hail a Radio Taxi (055 4390, 055 4242, 055 4798).
By coach Florentia Bus provides a link between Florence and Scarperia, the closest town to the circuit. Visit http://www.florentiabus.it/ for timetable.
