Trip advice

Getting to the Phillip Island Grand Prix circuit, about 120km south-east of Melbourne, is easy. Package customers can request a private car / shared minibus for airport pickup at cost; and we provide the hotel-track transfers on Fri/Sat/Sun. For public transport to our package hotel from Melbourne use www.vline.com.au. You will start a Southern Cross station and end at San Remo. From San Remo take a 2km taxi to the hotel.

Ride or Drive
For our package guests, our hotel for the weekend is the
Silverwater Resort in San Remo - approximately two hours from Melbourne:
Phillip Island Tourist Road
Corner Potters Hill Rd
+61(0)3 5671 9300
If you are travelling by motorcycle or car from Melbourne, access to the hotel is via CityLink, Monash Freeway and South Gippsland and Bass Highways to San Remo. From the Monash Freeway, signs will clearly identify the route to the circuit, which you can follow to San Remo where our hotel is. Travelling on the Phillip Island Tourist Road that leads directly onto the bridge, you will see the Resort up on the left about 2km before the fishing village of San Remo.

Getting to the circuit, continue across the San Remo Bridge to Phillip Island. Signs will clearly identify the route to the Circuit, which will include clear directional signs to the official circuit parking areas. Package guests: Remember - we take you to the track and back so this is only for those wanting to explore on their own!

Coach service from Melbourne
If you are travelling to & from the circuit from Melbourne, a dedicated "catch-a-coach" coach has departure points in: Melbourne city; Monash University; Geelong; Cranbourne; & Ballarat. See www.motogp.com.au for information, timetables & pricing info.
