Carter is a racer from Australia who has rapidly risen to the forefront of Aussie newcomers.

Starting from the tender age of 3 on a PeeWee50, when he was 5 he started racing motocross. In 2016 (age 7) he won his first Australian title and was dirt tracking in 2017 on a KTM 85. On his 10th birthday he tried a road bike for the first time - a motard 65. In 2019 (11) he took the Oceania Jr Cup Championship, then won the Australian R3 Cup in 2020 - the youngest ever winner. He moved on to the Asia Talent Cup on Moto3 bikes and scored a sensational victory in sweltering 40 degrees at Malaysia in 2022. Just in case that was too easy, he also participated in the European Talent Cup with AGR Team, taking 13th overall. In 2023 he joined the Red Bull Rookies, taking 19th overall in a season marred by injury. He also raced in ETC. 2024 saw a return to the Rookies, where he finished a respectable 10th.

But perhaps the highlight of 2024 was being pulled into the World Superbike SSP300 class as a replacement rider for Kawasaki. At his first round in Most, Czech Republic he took a podium - being the first time a podium was taken in the maiden race, and the first Australian on the SSP300 podium. To prove it was no fluke, he repeated a podium in the following round and ultimately taking 14th overall despite attending only a few rounds.

In 2025 he finished the Rookies in top 10, with a race victory in Jerez. IN worldSSP 300 he was sensational, winning and on the podium many times and finishing the tournament 2nd overall!

In 2026 he moves to the new WorldSBK Sportbike class on Yamaha YZF-R7 -- watch this space!

Our take: We have always had a very strong base of customers from Australia, and have been on the lookout for a rider we would get behind and introduce to our guests. Carter absolutely fits this spot; and his proven versatility and talent will undoubtedly see him rise through the ranks of MotoGP. We saw him on the SSP300 podium in Most and this confirmed to us that he was one to watch!

2025 was a brilliant year winning races in both Red Bull Rookies and WorldSBK SSP300 -- in which he took 2nd overall!

We will be seeing a lot of him in 2026 in the new Sportbike class - come join us and see him on the podium first hand!
