14th July 2019
Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca
+1 512 423 6326
We are based in Monterey about 2 hrs south of San Francisco. If you fly into Monterey airport we can pick you up. Also consider San Francisco, then take bus, or 'Super Shuttle' shared van, or simply hire a car
The Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca is located just outside Monterey on the coast of California.
Monterey Peninsular Airport is the closest airport, at about 10km from the circuit, conveniently located near the heart of Monterey on the coast. There are direct flights from San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Denver, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, LA/Ontario and San Diego. Also consider San Jose or San Francisco. There are minivan services (look for the Monterey Airbus) from SFO and San Jose, or of course you can rent a car.
Getting to the circuit
If you are on our package, the we can take you up and back Fri/Sat/Sun in our minibus. There is also a free coach service (to anyone who has a ticket) on Fri/Sat/Sun and another free service just on Sunday. See http://www.laguna-seca.com/map-directions/directions-parking-information-friday-sunday-july-27-29 for all options.
If you are driving, VIP and Club ticket holders may request a free parking pass for anyone booking 4 or more tickets. We can sell you a pass otherwise for $50. We cannot sell parking passes to non-customers.
Motorcycle parking is free; as is disabled parking. For other parking options please refer to the Laguna Seca web site above.
If you have a parking pass you will need to watch out for signs that correspond to your pass colour. Follow these signs to get you there. Allow enough time before and after the race in case of congestion!
VIP Village parking is on the inside of the circuit, on the hill under the corkscrew. Parking for our Pole Position Club is in Red 8 near the South Boundary entrance for those who have requested parking passes.
Motorcyclists will again be provided free on-site parking at Purple Parking. Enter/exit at Barloy Canyon Road, located off Reservation Road in Marina (north of Monterey).
There are lots of camping options - see http://www.laguna-seca.com/camping for more details.
The best sites are sold out years in advance - strongly recommend early booking.
Monterey Cannery Row is quite lively during the weekend - especially Saturday night. Be aware that there is a strenuous police presence there, and the slightest evidence of public drunkenness, open containers, noise pollution (bike revving, etc) or other behaviour considered 'anti social' will be dealt with harshly. Very.
