Indy packages now on sale! We have a private suite in the VIP Village for the top experience of the event. All our grandstand seats are hand-selected for optimal viewing. NEW - we will be running a police escort to the track for our superior and deluxe packages to ensure we don't get bogged in traffic! |

Indianapolis Grand Prix 2008
Tower terrace stands
After an absence of 99 years, motorcycle racing returns to the greatest motor sports venue in the world!
The track is currently undergoing extensive revision, the new motorcycle circuit will travel in the opposite direction from the cars, and of course will operate on only a piece of the 'oval'. We have been to the circuit to review progress, check out our select seating and VIP areas, and generally work out a great programme for the weekend, and needless to say we are very excited about the event!
The track will be new for all riders - so no 'home' advantage for the Americans or previous experience of motogp veterans -- this is a clean slate! So we expect a lot of fascinating action, from the diminishing-radius turn 1 leading to the contortionate sequence of turns 2,3 and 4; a triple nearly right-angle chicane at turns 7,8 and 9 (we have held seats at the bottom end of the Turn 7 terrace to catch this action); and finishing with the long sequence of turns 10-16, into which the riders will have to get their lines just perfect to defend their positions. With limited straights and plenty of opportunity to make mistakes, we think this will be a track that precision riders like Rossi will love! If you are taking grandstands with us, select stand H for last corner action and good screen view; we have some paddock boxes for a great view on the main straight and start grid; and for a great view of the entrance to the turn 1 melee (as well as probably the best seats in the circuit) we have a limited number of Stand A Penthouse boxes at the down track end of the stand.
However for us this is a real 'VIP' event -- after all, how many opportunities will you have to be there for the first run? For hospitality we have laid on the red carpet, and have a private area in the VIP Village . This is the official Dorna VIP Village situated over the pits with access to the pit road terrace grandstand seating, and features paddock tours, pit lane walks and of course our close attention all weekend!
We also feature 3 different packages permitting you to enjoy the event at the budget and style of your choosing, while still taking advantage of our expert staff and parties! Speaking of which, our traditional Friday opening party will feature some guest speakers and the usual food, drink and merriment; and Saturday we are planning a very special Charity event which will be part of our Charity.GP programme of very special galas! Keep the date!
