Qatar opening dinner to feature fascinating talk from the co-founder and designer of Lusail Circuit

Lusail Circuit inarguably has been a pioneer and trend setter in the development of race venues from its foundation in 2004 (from a project conceived in 2000). The first event in any motorsport to race at night under the lights, and now the widely acknowledged most beautiful & well appointed paddock in MotoGP

Our main guest speaker is Dr Khalid al-Ali who turned a passion for track days and motorcycle racing into one of the most iconic racetracks in the world. He will share insights into the hurdles in bringing the project to fruition and some of the design philosophies behind the circuit We will also view never-before-seen first drafts of the Losail Circuit and some of the themes and philosophies behind the track which helped shape the design and won the support to turn the dream into reality.

Khalid is now involved in very advance immersive media productions, and with his colleague will talk about his vision for promotion of MotoGP in the future.

Our events starts with drinks (beer/wine/soft), followed by a talk, buffet dinner and a post-dinner brainstorm of future promotional ideas for MotoGP

It all kicks off Thursday 7 March at 19:00 at the Treffen House Hotel, in downtown Doha.
