Event review - TT Assen 2023
Being the oldest event in MotoGP Assen does it perfectly!Not only is the circuit and town perfect, but the weather fell in line as well! What a gorgeous weekend!
Our Thursday happy hour got everyone in the mood
Friday evening we had a delicious opening dinner and drinks with guest speaker David Emmet of motomatters.om giving us deep insights into his 'home' circuit of Assen. W were joined by Red Bull Rookies Eddie O'Shea and Cormac Buchanan from New Zealand
Another perfect day Saturday treated us to an exciting sprint race and the first of two rookies races. IN the evening a number of team guests gathered at LCR Honda for dinner and drinks and another spellbinding talk from journalist Manuel Pecino
Meanwhile the rest of the crew headed into Assen for the famous street party! Some may have returned quite late... :-)
Sunday saw some superb racing; especially the Moto2 race won by our hero Jake Dixon! The final race of the day was the Red Bull Rookies which turned out to be a wet race; Eddie O'Shea fought to podium position before sadly crashing out in the final lap.
We still congratulated Eddie o his superb performance at our closing drinks under the early evening sun of Assen!
