Born in December 2010, Ethan Sparks has rocketed through the ranks of junior motorcycle racing to become one of Britain’s most exciting young talents. After first swinging a leg over a Yamaha PW50 in 2013, he quickly made his mark at the Scott Redding Academy before dominating the UK mini bike scene: Mini Moto AC40 Pro British Champion in 2019, back‑to‑back Mini GP 50 and Mini GP 70 British titles from 2020–2022, plus the Junior Lord of Lydden crown. His talent soon went international, claiming the FIM Mini GP 160 Austria title in 2023 and the FIM Mini GP 190 Austria title in 2024, alongside a string of podiums and victories as a privateer in the fiercely competitive ESBK Moto4 and Premoto3 classes in Spain.
On the world stage, Ethan has twice finished P4 overall in the FIM Mini GP World Finals, taking podiums, a super final P2, and a fastest lap against the best young riders on the planet. In 2025, at just 14 years old, he has underlined his status as a future star by becoming British Talent Cup Champion— the first ever rookie to win the title— with 6 wins and 7 second places, as well as scoring top‑ten results in the European Talent Cup. Now, as he steps into the MotoGP Red Bull Rookies Cup, Ethan brings a proven record of winning, relentless progression, and a clear trajectory towards the very top of the sport.
Our take: When we first met Ethan as one of our guests at Valencia 2023, we were impressed how the young man (12) conducted himself before our audience!
Last year he won the British Talent Cup at age 14 - the first ever rookie to win, with 6 victories and 7 second place finishes!
Especially for British riders sponsorship is thin on the ground, and as we know progressing upwards WNS (While Not Spanish) is very difficult. We are delighted to assist Ethan in his bid to become the next British champion!
